End of November I visited the ground team at Simbithi: Stephanie and Lindsey, who are making incredible progress in documenting all the different monkey groups we have in the study area and learning the monkey identities and individual characteristics. We were also invited to present our project at the community’s monthly “Environmental Talk” event, and we are thrilled with the support and collaboration we are receiving from the Simbithi residents for our citizen science part of the project. In line with the Inkawu Vervet Project approach, we are very excited to also follow monkeys with our own blue cappies.
